The Metropolis of Veroia, together with the members of the website OrthPhoto.net, is organizing a Photo Exhibition under the title "Orthodoxy, expression of freedom" at lobby of "Stegi Grammaton" of the municipality of Veroia (Antoniou Kamara Str.) between 25-28 June, 9a.m.-1p.m.

What is photography - passion, love, thinking, feeling, patience to capture the right moment… or in one word: art. Art to draw with light. The marvelous photos of Florentina Mardari (flor) from Romania improved this definitely. Her photos gathered not only users’ votes but won OrthPhoto-Adobe Prize Competition in November and December. Congratulations, Florentina!

Today we are celebrating 8th anniversary of orthphoto. We would like to thank you for being with us all of this time and for creating the website together with us. We are grateful for your presence here, the wonderful photos you have been sharing with us and your willingness to discuss and learn from one another. Together, we have created this special space on the internet where everyone can admire and learn about the beauty of Orthodox faith.

Our October winner is from Russia. The marvelous photo of Andrey Khitaylenko (anndrop) took the hearts not only of the users but of the editorial team also.
The human faces, the eyes, the hands could tell us different stories better than the words. Andrey’s photo tells us such story.

We have the pleasure to inform you that our September winner is a heart touching picture of Tomek Poskrobko (ZAC), again from Poland :) May be this prize is a little proof of Tomek’s words that the photography could be valuable when there is something to show and to share with others

This year OrthPhoto editorial team together with Orthodox Parish of Saint John the Theologian from Bialystok is organizing exhibition once again. Because our last thematic exhibition turned out to be a great success we have decided to continue this series and this year we are planning to organize exhibition about Serbia.

With big pleasure, we announce that the winner for August in Orthphoto-Adobe Prize competition is the impressive photo of Grażyna Wojtków (nowaewa) from Poland. She joined Orthphoto just before several months, but her photos almost immediately took attention of the users - the selected photography is one of the first she uploaded on the site.

We are very pleased to inform you that Radmila Ostojic (ketevanbd) from Montenegro won the contest for July. Her inspiring picture shows one of the favorite places of Radmila – a small church in Komovi Mountain.

June rain, tree, man, dog – the beauty of the creation appears to us in simple things. The wonderful photo of our June winner fr. Seraphim from Poland warms us with its authenticity and simplicity and if it whispers, “The earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein.” (Ps. 23:1)

The winner for May in OrthPhoto Adobe Prize competition is a beautiful photo of Djordje Gajicki (Djole) from Serbia. It shows one of the most important and significant orthodox place in his country.
