With big pleasure, we announce that the winner for August in Orthphoto-Adobe Prize competition is the impressive photo of  Grażyna Wojtków (nowaewa) from Poland. She joined Orthphoto just before several months, but her photos almost immediately took attention of the users - the selected photography is one of the first she uploaded on the site.

This photo is very special for Grażyna. That’s what she wrote to us:
“I come from a region, where we have not orthodox churches. This photo has been taken in August 2011 in Jabłeczna monastery.
On the photo, you can see The Holy Spirit Church and a monk from the monastery, which came to take a photo during the break of dawn just like me.
Selection of this photo for the photo of month is very special for me, because of two reasons. First, the photo presents a place very close to my heart. Second, I learned about the selection a day before the anniversary of the beginning of my Orthodox way. Moreover, I strongly believe that such recognition will help me to spread knowledge of Orthodoxy in the place where I live - Nysa, Opolskie voivodship.
I would like to thank the team of the website as well as all users of Orthphoto.net for impressions and emotions connected with publishing and watching photos on the site.”
