Today we are celebrating 8th anniversary of orthphoto. We would like to thank you for being with us all of this time and for creating the website together with us. We are grateful for your presence here, the wonderful photos you have been sharing with us and your willingness to discuss and learn from one another. Together, we have created this special space on the internet where everyone can admire and learn about the beauty of Orthodox faith.
Two major successes from previous year are launching new website version and organizing exhibition “Colors of orthodoxy.Poland”.
Both initiatives are still not finished. We hope we will be able to finish website development until end of May and we are showing the exhibition only in Poland and we want to show it all over the world. So new exhibitions which we will prepare will be presented in many places around the word.
The number of ideas and level of involvement is too much (?) for few people who are working 100% voluntary so we are trying to establish something more serious. With help of Foundation Dialog Between Nations we have just opened an office, in which we hope one day we will have people working from other orthodox countries. We hope to work on orthphoto development and also helping church organizations to work together.
We have also small present for you just after Easter we will try to move into another server which allows us to increase size of uploaded photo.

Our anniversary is an occasion to look a little bit at statistics:
- Now we have almost 60000 photos.
- We have over 4100 users

Every day we have around 1000 visits and last year we had almost 95 000 unique visitors (30 000 more than previous year).

When it comes to country statistics, Poland is still on the first place with 93 000 visits (8,5 % less than a year before). Below, we show statistics for other countries (figures in brackets show the change in comparison with the previous year).
