I was in Greece last time in 2002 for 3 months and I noticed this, what you say. I visited also this place and others, some just antic, some very Christian. And I saw also that this argument that you say is so spreaded, I have the same conclusion as you, unfortunately :) So, I am glad you are here, with us, thanks God!
And you are right, this is available for all othodox people. We have to make ourselves worthy of Christian faith and not to be only proud because of ascestors.

Brother iorga, it should be the same for all orthodox nations. But unfortunatly there is lately in Greece a revival of idolatry, with the argument that ancient greek civilization has enlightened all the western modernized world.

Δυστυχώς, όπως γνωρίζεις, για λόγους διαχείρισης της ιστοσελίδας υποχρεώθηκα να μειώσω τo μέγεθος από 1,7 MB σε 100 KB και κατά συνέπεια η ανάλυση δεν είναι η καλύτερη δυνατή.

Γειά σου "σκουφίσι";;; Πολύ ωραία φωτογραφία καί ωραία γωνία. Αναρρωτιέμαι αν χώραγε λίγο καλύτερη ανάλυση που θα έδειχνε καλύτερα το θέμα εφόσον είναι και μικρό τμήμα του τοπίου η ίδια η εκκλησία. Πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα και η ιστορία πίσω από το Ναό και την περιοχή.
