yes, of course, it is sad that the spirit and the sacred nature of the moved and restored churches are certainly far from being the same as before, authenticity was affected. The soviet state wanted them to be accessible all together and well preserved, but was also a great lost for the people staying near the original sites of these churches.
indeed, they where not meant to be attraction, but when you think of all the destroyed or abandoned churches, it's not so bad.

This church doesn't stand at his place of original construction, it was brought there from an old quarter of Novgorod (Тухоля Крестецкого) and restored in 1966-67 (can see the plan of the museum here : http://www.adm.nov.ru/web.nsf/pages/vito)
