"Edifié sur le site où fut transportée l'ancienne église du village de Bârsana, ce complexe monastique est bâti selon les règles de l'architecture en bois du Maramures. Seul regret, il efface un peu la présence de l'église historique. Mais ce lieu contemporain de la Foi offre au pélerin un magnifique lieu de méditation et de recueillement."
