I forgot to say some words about this beautiful place from the north of Romania, Bucovina Region.
Putna Monastery is a very important cultural and artistic centre, a refuge and a defence fortress also.
Putna Monastery was built in 1470 ad. by Prince Stephen the Great, named later The Great and the Saint ("Voievodul Stefan cel Mare si Sfant" - in romanian language). Nowadays, Putna Monastery is a very special peaceful place for not only Romanian Orthodoxy.
