Picture of all those who attended the first Liturgy in the new St Luke Church
It was an emotional, even tearful event when the first liturgy was held at St Luke's. So much effort, blood, sweat, tears, financial sacrifice. This was a dream realized, this church started with 17 converts 19 years ago. With God's grace and human effort, a great deal has been done. It is amazing how many new faces we see in church now, both lapsed Orthodox and the curious and the serious about coming home into the ancient faith. We all thank God for this opportunity to witness. Orthodoxy in Boulder County Colorado now numbers four Orthodox churches when none existed 20 years ago.
