I am glad in seeing State collaborating so well with Church in Russia, but sad in reading some nationalistic comments here. Do you know that a Pan-Orthodox Synod in Constantinople in 1870 contemned "phyletism", ie. Orthodoxy and nationalism mixture?

Mr Putin never misses a chance to call himself a “Chekist”, because he is a former KGB officer. “Chekist” is derived from CheKa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheka), an organization which was created for annihilation of the Russian nation and the Orthodox Church and which slaughtered the Tsar family.
Those who miss this point are helping to re-stage Kosovo in Ukraine, Belarus and Russia.
And do not delete this note of mine. There is no “pure art” in our times.

I find it disgusting that man which has blood on his hands could stand on the altar of the Mighty One and His innocent Son - Lamb of God !!!

Putin continuous bloody tradition of Stalin and Hitler exterminating the Thetstschenian people with blessing of many priests of Orthodox Church in Russia. Do you think this is a christian way and he is a "christian ruler"? I don't think so.

ikonopis: I don't understand you. Would you like to have non-christian rulers? Like Nero, Diocletian, Hitler, Stalin?
God save us!

Do you know, that Putin is declared atheist ???

It's marriage of the "altar" and the "throne". I think that it's disgusting in the eyes of the our Lord Jesus Christ who says - "My kingdom is not of this world."
