I liked very much a comment about this place:
Aghii Apostoli (Holy Apostles) Church
The Church is dated around last quarter of 10th AD century. It’s a typical example of middle-Byzantine cross-in-square Church and the first of the so-called Athenian style with its typical dome and the ceramic masonry. It’s built in the area of the Ancient Agora of Athens on the foundations of the Nymphs antic temple.
On the left back side the antic temple of Hephaistos can be seen. After the 7th AD century it has been converted into a Christian church for some centuries.
These are two typical examples of Greek Christianity converting antic paganism and idolatry temples into our Lord Jesus Churches
