Of course. it's your photo and you decide what to do with it! :) The black part gives depth to the photo, and its ok, if you mean that. SImply, you may interpret my remark as subjective and - put it to my superstition - I don't like triangles. :))) All the best to you!

I would deffinitely try to evade this dark triangle in the background... a more diagonal composition would probably do for me :) But it's a good photo, anyway.
