Metr. Nikolaos was working for NASA in the Un. States before coming back to Greece and deciding to become a Monk. He was tonsured a Monk at the Monastery of Gregoriou, Mt. Athos, where he lived for a few years. His books are amazing, very simple and spiritual at the same time. Many people in Greece hope that he will be the next Archbishop.

The Bishop on the left is Ignatios, Metropolitan of Demetrias, and the second one is Nikolaos, Metropolitan of Lavreotiki.
They are two of the best and most spiritual Metropolitans on Greece
