Finally after two years of preparation we are happy to be start presenting a new and improved format for our Orthphoto website. On the one hand we are sorry that we were unable to raise all the money needed to fully install the new format. However we are delighted that our funds at least allow to make a beginning and we trust that funds will soon be forthcoming to finish the installation

At this point we wish to express our profound thanks to the many individuals and to the two Polish Orthodox organizations, that so generously made donations toward this upgrade of our website.

Individual donors with Orthphoto accounts will find their support recognized by a special symbol on their account. Organizational donors like the two Polish Orthodox organizations, (Orthodox Fellowship of SS Cyril and Methodius, Foundation Dialogue between Nations) will be acknowledged by running their banners on our site for one half year. We hope that we will soon beable to add a page to recognize and awknoledge all our generous donors.

The following list is just a preliminary and simple announcement of what the new format offers. We hope to post more detailed information soon:

- sponsor logo in profiole page i and HR (high resolution) logo for hotos which we have in this format
- search in profile page
- bigger profile photo
- adding photo to favorites
- EXIF and IPTC information
- New voting system
- marking online users
- slideshows

The following are a few items that we have not yet been able to upload from the old format to the new one:
- Tutorials
- list of comments to photos
- extra informations in users profile (comments, votes, favorites)

We are planning also develop some new things:
- photosets
- possibility to ask for moderation photo or news
- advanced search module
- section when we can inform about cultural events in church or about photo events around the world
- mailing system (internal – so without emails people can communicate on site)
- list of authors online
