We are happy to announce that this is the first time that we pay for the half of the server where OrthPhoto located using your support.

This allows us to increase the size of photos uploaded.

Since the 14th of January you can upload files up to 150kb and with new dimensions 750 px width and height.

Concerning your donations we have collected 415 EURO.
We have received 14 donations:
- 10 from Poland (215 EURO)
- 2 from Russia (120 EURO)
- 1 from Germany (50 EURO)
- 1 from Greece (30 EURO)

We are very grateful for your help. Thank to your donations everybody can add photos in bigger size.

Unfortunately from the other hand these are bad news because we do not manage to find enough money to start working on the beta version and have extra money to start new projects.
We do not find One sponsor who could help us with our projects. We planned to give him big visibility on site and during the realization of our projects.
It does not mean that we stop working on realization of our ideas, but probably our development will be postponed for the better future.

Still a lot depends on you and your help. From now we will try to separate projects and use different sources to achieve our goals. First of all we need to set out the priorities. For projects such as new exhibition, calendar, album or doing workshop, we are still looking for sponsorship and keep trying to apply for grants.

Now, the most important thing is to finalize our work on the beta version. To be able to do this we should collect around 2000 EURO for technical work and some more money for promotion of OrthPhoto when we start the new version. In fact we can start new version without spending money for extra promotion.

From now our supporting banner will be representing progress of our actions.
If we can find 1000 EURO before the end of February 2011, we may have the beta version ready around the Easter.
So, please, remember that your support will be very useful for you as well. We have almost 4000 users on OrthPhoto . If half of the users will donate each for 1 EURO, we will have enough money to start the beta version. It is still possible to become the sponsor of the new version and be published in news, ads on banners when we are ready. If you are the owner of a company or can help us to contact departments in the appropriate field, please, write to us at info@orthphoto.net.

And the last idea we want to implement concludes banners which we never use for earning money. We have special offer for you. If you want to promote your business or works on OrthPhoto, contact us at info@orthphoto.net , present your banner, and, if we do not have anything against the subject of your banner, we will show it on the home page for 3 weeks for 5 Euro per language version. This offer is valid only for the first banner on each language version. Starting from February we are going to prepare regular prices.

I hope that together we will find a way for OrthPhoto not only to exist, but to develop new ways of promoting and presenting our faith.
