To celebrate 5 years of virtual life, Orthphoto.net is organizing in 2009 an Anniversary Photographic Expo. On this occasion 300 images by 170 authors from 43 countries / 5 continents will be shown. From the over 100 countries that are visiting Ortphoto.net, and from the 1300 daily visits, Romania stands second in the site audience by country, after Poland who hosts of the Orthphoto.net server. 480 Romanian users are registered on the site which presents approximately 5000 photos of this country by Romanian photographers and foreign pilgrims visiting the sacred sites of Romania.

With the help of the Expo we want to show the best photos of the site. Romania will have 27 photos made by 21 Romanian Photographers. The Anniversary Expo is organised in the same time in several countries i.e. Poland, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece and Russia.

Orthphoto and the Orthodox Episcopate of Slatina and Romanati are inviting you on Sunday, 16th of August 2009, at 18.00 to the opening of the 5 years Anniversary Expo of Orthophoto in Sala Ronda of the National Theater Caracal.
The Expo is part of a series of events that celebrate the anniversary day (16th of August) of the Saints Martyrs Brancoveni, patrons of the Orthodox Episcopate of Slatina and Romanati.
The Expo can be visited in the main hallway of the National Theater Caracal until the 23rd of August.

After Caracal the Expo will be traveling and can be visited in several Romanian cities that will be identified on the site later in the year.
