Over 300 photos from 43 countries which show diversity and wealth of the Orthodox Church you can see now in Biala Podlaska and in surrounding neighborhood. This unique opportunity gives you The International Photos Exhibition Orthphoto.net 2004-2009, which official opening took place on the 21st of June in Biala Podlaska during the fifth edition concert of the orthodox church music ”Treasures of Podlasie Culture”.

His eminence Archbishop Abel together with consul of Belarus Republic Vladimir Ananicz have made the symbolic opening of the exhibition.

In assembly hall of the State Higher Vocational School, where the whole celebration took place, five different choirs gave short concerts:

• Brotherhood Youth Choir from Diocese of Lublin and Chelm, conductor – Very Rev. Martin Goscik;
• Female choir of the Elevation of the Lords Cross parish from Horostyta, conductor – Agnieszka Lotysz;
• Choir of the Saint Nikolai Orthodox Garrison Church in Brest Fortress from Brest in Belarus, conductor – Tatiana Radczuk;
• Choir of Children, Youth and Parents of Saints Cyril and Methodius orthodox parish from Biala Podlaska, conductor – Monika Goscik;
• Choir “Aksios” of the Orthodox church from Kolomyje in Ukraine, conductor – Natalia Kowalova.


One of the guests from audience, Vladyslav Kiryluk, who was listening to this great performance, has said:
Those songs, which I was just listening to, were really on the highest level. It is very important, that so many children and youth took part in this celebration. Moreover, with great interest, I have visited the exhibition, which shows Orthodoxy in the whole world. Meetings like today are very important, because they show spiritual beauty of our religion and integrate our orthodox community.
