I understand what you mean, Gorzata. It can never be the same as it used to and we can never know precisely what it was like, but, you see, it is better to built churches, than to have none, or, God forbid, ruin them or destroy them, such is the case with our churches and monasteries in Kosovo. Greetings from Serbia.

Thanks in advance Tanjica! You see I have a kind of distance to rebuilt objects, to a very precise reconstructions that want to "imitate" old architecture. There is always a question if that is at all possible and if that should be done or how. Greetings!

Thank you for your comment and enquiry, Małgorzata.
This church is built on the grounds of the 8th century church which means it probably has the same, or probably the similar design. There is no altar or iconostasis inside this church as it is newly built and needs to be properly 'equipped' in the future (I hope). There are some icons of St Parasceva (Petka) to whom this church is dedicated to and a place where believers can light candles. I will try to find out more about this church. All the best to you.

I wonder how inerior of this church looks like, if it resembles the one from 8th century or has also a trace of contemporary design? Is this church just a copy of the old one or is this contemporaty architecture that uses materials and forms in a very good way? Thank you for information about time of built. Great photo.
