If you read Acts 19:23, this theater is the place the Ephesians gathered to rally against St. Paul and his followers because they were endangering their pagan rituals to Diana - the fertility goddess. The silversmiths were angry because people ceased to buy their silver images of Diana. The photo shows how big this theater is. No crosses!
