Манастир ЈЕЖЕВИЦА се налази испод падина планине ЈЕЛИЦЕ,12 километара од Чачка. На овом простору, неколико километара удаљени један од другог, налазе три значајна манастира. Поред Јежевице, ту је, у самој планини Манастир СТЈЕНИК, у коме се чувају мошти Светог Јована Стјеничког и Лештијанској. У њему је само један (и прилично вредан!) монах. Има коњића, кокошке, пчеле, а место је као са друге плнете.
Недалеко, поред села Трнава, налази се манастир Благовештење. У њему је подигнута чувена Хаџи-Проданова буна, у којој су међу организаторима били и српски новомученици Пајсије и Авакум. О свему овоме постоје белези у порти манастира.
До свих манастира лако се стиже преко Мораве од Мрчајеваца, или скретањем са обилазнице око Чачка.
