As I could understand Polish, it's rather strange for you the difference of the lighting of the sky and the snow. Well, you're quite right: this difference really exists on the picture. You see, that time the sky was like milk and had no proper photographic texture. In other words, it wasn't interesting for shooting. That's why to make the sky more dark (for more or less good visual perception) I decided to use the filter COKIN GRADUAL GREY G2 SOFT.

filtr połówkowy czasami nie jest potrzebny. Teraz mamy ciemne niebo i jaśniejący śnieg. Zdjęcie ciekawe, ale ta zabawa światłem troche je psuje.

To tell you the truth, from the very beginning I considered the version with the cropped lower edge of the picture. But, you see, at the same time I'd like very much to show so fresh and untouched snow cover before the fir-trees as much as possible. The idea's as following: to show the real silence inside the nunnery yard. Nobody was here that time except me.

It goes without saying that the sky hasn't been glued. I used only gradual filter to darken a little bit the sky. Otherwise, it was too white that day (right as some milk, for example).

Лепа фотографија, мада бела површина снега највише скреће пажњу, требало је избалансирати светло горње (важније) површине у односу на доњу. Ако је филтер у питању ,мислим да га је требало обратно окренути. Онда би била доња површина светлија. Овај коментар схватите као моје субјективно виђење ове фотографије. У фотографији не сме нешто неважно да скреће пажњу од главног плана. Ту је фотограф на потезу. Без увреде, ово је стварно искрено. Поздрав за Сергеја!
