Храм Покрова Пресвятой Богородицы в селе Сосновка
В летописных книгах в 1595-97 гг. упоминается «Сосновского монастыря слободка», т.е. уже в конце ХVI века существовала Покровская пустынь, около которой возникло село Сосновка. В писцовых книгах 1628-29 гг. отмечено, что «… в монастыре Покров Пресвятой Богородицы, а в церкви и свечи, книги и ризы, и колокола монастырское». Располагался монастырь на том месте, где сейчас находится церковь и бывший дом священника. По указу царя Феодора Алексеевича от 22 декабря 1680 года была приписана Сосновская пустынь со всеми угодьями к Воскресенскому монастырю города Истры, а во второй половине ХVII века пустынь была совершенно упразднена.
Существующая ныне в с. Сосновка приходская церковь, была построена в конце ХVIII века. Тогда же была построена деревянная церковь, сохранившаяся до наших дней. Один из храмов был освящен в честь Всех Святых, другой в честь Покрова Богородицы.
В 1930-х годах оба храма были закрыты.
В 1997 году Покровская церковь была передана Православной церкви.
С 2002 года в храме регулярно совершаются богослужения. И хотя без трудностей не обошлось и в храме сменилось несколько священнослужителей, но церковная жизнь не угасает находясь под покровом Божьей Матери.
