brother Kozma is right. The Coptic church is not orthodox. They separated by the Orthodox Church body at the 4th ecumenical council (from Chalcedon). They are monophysite.

Dear Kozma, I don't want to start a theological debate here but let me just say that to me the Oriental churches are as Orthodox as Eastern ones.

Good photo, but the pews, ugh. I thought that the Coptics spent much of the Divine Liturgy performing prostrations; not much room in this church for that.
