Blessing the graves. Memorial Day in America
Sunday May 24th 2009 following Divine Liturgy we processed outside with banners and choir to bless the graves in the cemetary surrounding our little country Church. American Memorial Day was established following our Civil War and now commemorates not only the military deaths in service of the country, but all departed. It also marks the beginning of the summer holidays.
