Undoubtedly the most interesting and the most value in building the monastery is the church-tomb. She has such great importance not only because it is the only preserved building from the foundation of the monastery, and for the frescoes, which are priceless artistic value. They are the work of Georgian Zograf John Iveropulets and date from the XII century.
The building is dvukatna with longitudinal construction and has eight highly profiled arki vaulted to embellish the interior walls, typical of religious architecture in our land during the XI-XII century. House is completely similar construction as in the church buildings in Stanimaka / Assenovgrad from the same time.
Prisms in the floor of the house there are 14 tombs. In his prtivor images appear on both donor - Bakuriani brothers.
In the house is the only preserved portrait of the Bulgarian Tsar Ivan Alexander - grizhovnik and large donor to the monastery.
