Fr John Mangels says the Mass according to St Gregory the Great, Pope of Rome in 6th Century. The chants are done in English and Latin, the music is divine, the other expression of Orthodoxy. St Gregory also did the Eastern Presanctified Liturgy. What a wonderful Church that can express its liturgy in two ways

Dear Fellow Photographers: THIS IS AN ORTHODOX CHURCH, it is under the Patriarch of Antioch, please go to www.westernorthodoxy.com. There are western rite English, Spanish and French Churches under the Russian Orthodox Chruch, The Orthodox Church of America and the Antiochian Church. These churches do use the Roman Catholic and Anglican Masses, they have no iconostasis, they do not use the chalice and spoon and they use unlevened bread. They are fully Orthodox and recognized by all Patriarchs.

To me it looks like a catholic altar(the sculptured figures, the style..even though it has icons painted in an orthodox manner).It also has no iconostasis? And the priest`s clothes look different from the ones worn by orthodox priests...As connte said it is an ortodox-photo site..

Hey, connte, THIS IS inside Orthodox church, but they serve Liturgy in western rite.
By the way, saint Gregory the Great, pope of Rome served it in the 6 century (!) too.
