I have posted the photo due to the amazing story of its architecture. It can easily be seen that on top of the building there are two rows of crosses, just like two rows of people standing side by side. They simbolize the martyrs killed in the communist prison from Aiud. Moreover, on their "shoulders", they bear the burdain of a bigger Cross, which stands for the Cross of our people, who had to suffer a great deal during the communist rule.At the basement of the building, there is a room where one may find the bones of these martyrs, telling the story of their painful existence. Above it, there is a church, in the memory of the people killed here.
