I guess Radu P. has right in some way, regarding the architectural style, but if nowadays the religious services are no longer orthodox... the spiritual base (from orthodox point of vue) became powerless. That's strictly my opinion.

I don't know it's origins, Maniek, but I dare to say that it's architecture is pure orthodox...so I suppose it was built at the beginning for orthodox rituals, and no matter in whose possesion is nowadays, it's fundamental spiritual base will not be denied neither now, nor in the future...
