crows on the cross - crows- usually they symbolize, something bad, and the cross symbol of the our salvation. because of the crow on the top of the cross it doesn't give so much hope. with that black frame it is even more gloomy as shorenochka said... maybe apocalyptic a bit... it would be nice if the author give his own explanation:)

Yes, certainly, it is possible to assume and so. Considering today's time when the belief in lives of the states before arranging persecutions on it, revives, i have considered it as a personal problem of the author.

I remember this photo in colour... I remember I had some negative associations about the crows (not good symbol) on the cross. I haven't changed my opinion yet. :)
But this does not have to be interpreted in personal context (relating it to the state of faith of the author). It could simply be showing SIGN OF TIMES, some negative forces present in the world and influencing or trying to influence the Church...
I think, in this case, the author should give a good, appropriate title to the photo.
