Yes, indeed, there was a miraculous icon in the Church. I took photos from the interior, but there are of very low quality. It was very dark inside, although it was morning. This is not the exact place of what we call today ancient market, but exactly next to it. Although I looked, i din't manage to find out what exactly were these ruins. and also what are these ruins in front, I know in that place was Agora, place from where Saint Apostle Pavel preached in Athens, is this Agora or other coloums?

Maybe you have a closer view of Monastiraki, church is very nice :) and also the interior. I remember here was a wonderworking icon of some holy relics, and it was a special happbit that people to let near that icon some very small puppets I think symbolising the child or person who was healed at the icon. am I right?
