and this is a sequence from the beggining of the way to Cross Hill, passing the river Putna :)
the hill may be seen in background but in both photos cross is not so visible

Here is a view from Monastery Putna of the Cross Hill, and may be seen how name of Saint Stefan the Great is written on the hill with planted shrubs by monks from Putna since the year 2004 when were commemorated 5000 years from passing away of the saint

;) How much time did you spend climbing on that hill ? :))
For those who don't know, that huge cross is actually a GSM antenna. In the night, there are more than 80 powerful lamps that make the cross visible many kilometers away. I'll post a photo taken from Putna Monastery's yard with some "A.S.C.O.R.-isti" [:)] singing carols. In the background you will see the cross shining in the night.
